Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania

Today, my daughter, Julia (age 8) and I made a trip to the Animal Rescue League with a collection of kitty litter, cat treats, dog food, dog bones, old blankets and towels.   Everyone at the Rescue League was so grateful for the donations.  It took an hour, and a big box of Milkbone Dog Biscuits, to visit with about 45 abandoned or surrendered dogs - so heartbreaking, but fun and rewarding.  Julia commanded the attention of each dog to sit for their bone - most of them were so nervous they took the treat with their lips!!!!!
